The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate Amanstra’ commitment to the privacy of the user/client information and sensitive commercial/financial data. Those staff members may be on teams such as Technology, Marketing, and Support. Employees only have access to data that is relevant to their team, on a ‘need to know’ basis.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE DPDPA

You have certain rights if you are within India this including:

  1. an absolute right to receive data breach notifications (regardless of harm);
  2. a right to seek erasure of personal data and this right is only subject to: (1) necessity for the specific purpose for which personal data was collected; and (2) applicable law.
  3. a right to escalate to the Data Protection Board if grievances are not resolved within a time period which will be prescribed (previous iterations provided for seven days).
